Winter fun away from the slopes
Even more snowy delights on your winter holiday in Schladming
Besides skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing, Schladming has even more to offer in winter.
Tobogganing
In Schladming and the surrounding area there are numerous natural tobogganing runs and illuminated toboggan runs with toboggan hire. After a more or less hard ascent, you’ll be rewarded when stopping off in one of the many alpine huts and mountain inns with a hearty snack and a unique atmosphere that is only found in an alpine hut.
Anyone wanting to take is easier, can go comfortably up to the 7 km long Hochwurzen toboggan run - the longest toboggan run in the Alps - with the Hochwurzen summit train. After the mountain hut stop, it’s a fast sledge run back down to the valley.
