From pleasure cycling to downhill racing

Schladming lies on the 252 km long “Enns“ cycle route and the 1,138 km long “Austrian Alpine Tour" and offers you a variety of cycling tours.

Kilometre long, asphalted cycle routes in the valley, signposted mountain bike routes at different levels of difficulty, and the downhill park on the Planai offer suitable terrain for both pleasure cyclists and extreme bikers.

In the Planai bike park, every year the world’s elite compete with each other in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. With its varying levels of difficulty, however, the course can also by cycled by hobby riders and even families. The Planai bike park is 1830 m above sea level, directly next to the Planai cable car summit station.

The cable car base station can be easily reached on foot from the Posthotel.
